    Boerum Hill Apartment

This Brooklyn apartment for a New York designer was conceived as a peaceful refuge from her busy world. Surrounded by friends art on walls painted in shades of gray. The large framed print above the sofa gives focus to the contemporary living room. Pillows are complimentary light and dark gray with embroidery and fur as well. The original pine floors are a warm counter point under the Morrocan rug.

Textured pillows on embroidered moroccan spread contrast with the flat gray walls and linen head board. The crochet piece on the bed is by the designer.

The bathroom has a skylight but no window so this landscape photo creates a sense of space a painted wall could not.
